The Autostar Controller has an object database of
more than 1500 astronomical objects. To see these images on your computer try the Meade DSI.
Just plug in the Meade Autostar Computer Controller into the control
panel of your DS2130 telescope. Then choose which object you want to
observe, and enter it onto the Autostar display, and press GOTO. Amazingly
your telescope will immediately move at 4.5 degrees per second and place the
object in your field of view.
Other capabilities the Meade Autostar control system has for the Meade

tracking, to keep found objects centered in the field. A dual axis mechanism
