The Meade 8 inch LX90 telescope provides rock solid support with its die
cast, aluminum, double-time fork mount. Its equipped with 4.9 inch diameter
worm gears on both axes to allow smooth sidereal tracking. Plus for long
exposure imaging offers accurate guiding corrections.

Easy Align and SmartFinder. They are both great for the amateur astronomer.

alignment star. After, use the SmartFinder to center the red dot over the
other alignment stars, and your ready to view what you want.
