Two Best Meade Refractor Telescopes
If you want to gaze at most of the major planets without spending a bundle
you would do well to purchase one of the Meade refractor telescopes.
With the exception of Pluto it's easy to gaze at the planets with the
Meade refractor telescopes. The two best models, or at least the best known,
of the Meade refracting telescopes are the Meade ETX70 at and the Meade LXD
75. Through either of these you can clearly view the belts of clouds that
surround Jupiter, or the rings of Saturn. You can also see Jupiter's four
satellites through either of these Meade refractor telescopes. Remember you'll need Meade telescope accessories.
Refracting telescopes by Meade let you easily observe the moon in great
details. You can see its craters, mountains and even fault lines in three
dimensions. Within our own galaxy the these telescopes will let you study
nebula, and clusters of stars by the hundreds. You can also readily gaze at
a myriad number of other galaxies and their celestial objects.
The most popular of the Meade refracting telescopes, the ETX70at includes
an optical tube assembly for its achromatic refractor, which has several
layers of optical coating, an internal system to flip the mirrors so that
you can observe from either a straight through or ninety-degree view. The
ETX70at has a fork mount that offers electrically controlled slow motion
action, dual axle locks and a 9 speed motor drive system, dual axis, with an
Autostar brand computer controller.
This model, one of the lower priced of the Meade refracting telescopes
retails at approximately $3300. This price includes operating instructions.
You'll need six AA batteries to work it.
