Orion Atlas 10EQ Refractor Telescope

The Orion Atlas 10EQ reflector telescope is a large, sturdy telescope with 10 inch optics. Because of its powerful optics, objects viewed with the 10eq are farther away than they appear. You'll be able to see up close and in your face ,beautiful clear images of the planets. The shot I saw of Saturn was spectacular.

The Orion Atlas 10eq reflector telescope has a center- marked 10" parabolic mirror (f/4.7). It provides incredible thermal stability because it is made from Pyrex low-expansion glass. For extra low dispersion try the Orion Epic ED2 Series Eyepieces. Orion's aluminum mirror cell maximizes ventilation for efficient cooling.

For unflinching stability and control the Atlas 10eq Orion is armed with a heavy-duty equatorial mount. It stands using 2 inch stainless steel legs. Slewing can be done at 2x, 8x, and 16x sidereal rate due to internal electronic drives on both axes, and a pushbutton hand controller. The controller is equipped with a R.A. and DEC reverse switches.

For large aperture resolving power, plus amazing equatorial control and stability, the Orion Atlas 10 eq reflector telescope will take you to deep at the speed of light.
