Orion Sky Quest XT12 Intelliscope
The Orion Sky Quest XT12 Intelliscope is very smart. It is equipped
with an optional Computerized Object Locator which you just plug in to the
scopes base. Now you can find up to 14,000 celestial objects by simply
pushing a button.
The Orion Sky Quest XT12 provides friction free movement and springless
adjustable Correc Tension for always perfect tube balance and motion due to
its Teflon and UHMW bearings. For accurate collimation it is equipped with a
center marked Pyrex parabolic primary mirror.
The XT12 Intelliscope is very user friendly and fun to use. Orion has
designed the XT12 with ingenuity and technical sophistication that makes
competing models obsolete. The tube is 4 feet 10 inches long, weighs 50
pounds and is one of the smartest big scopes around.
