The Orion SkyQuest XT6 Intelliscope is perfect for beginning
stargazers. You'll be able to locate and track the belts of Jupiter, Saturns
rings, clusters, galaxies, and more. The XT6 combines amazing reflector
optics with point and view technology in one convenient package.
Just choose which object you want to view using the object locators menu,
or can choose from a pre-set tour of objects. Then the Orion SkyQuest XT6
Intelliscope's digital encoders point the telescope right to the object,
positioning it perfectly in the telescopes field of view.
Orion has designed the SkyQuest XT6 Intelliscope using a big 150mm
parabolic mirror which gives you 80% more light gathering ability than a 4.5
inch mirror for brighter detailed images.
For rock solid stability and simple portability the Orion Intelliscope
XT6 SkyQuest uses a newly streamlined Dobsonian base. This telescope uses
the springless CorrecTension system for perfect tube balance and motion
control. Beginners can get a guilded tour their first night out.
