Orion SkyQuest XT8 Intelliscope
The Orion SkyQuest XT8 Intelliscope allows you to locate and track
easily planets, clusters, nebulas, and galaxies. By using its computerized
object locator, you'll have access to more than 14,000 celestial objects.
Orions SkyQuest XT8 Intelliscope is an 8 inch Dobsonian telescope. One of
the most advanced on the market. It is equipped with two eyepieces, a 2 inch
and a 1.25 inch which is contained in a 2 inch aluminum focuser. For easy
slewing there is a navigation knob and a 9x50 dovetail finder scope.
Orion has designed the SkyQuest XT8 Intelliscope using an enameled steel
tube, that rides on a streamlined, super stable Dobsonian base. It moves
effortlessly on Teflon and UHMW polyethylene bearng pads. For simple point
and view use, the CorrecTension system keeps the tube very balanced.
