Takahashi FS 102 Refractor Telescope
The Takahashi FS-102 refractor telescope is great for visual and
photo studies of the Moon and planets. It is also an incredible wide field
astrograph camera, by using its dedicated focal reducer. It offers an
astounding 5 degree field of view. There is a new version the Takahashi FS 102NVS refractor telescope.
The Takahashi FS-102 is a high quality Apochromatic refractor. It offers
very sharp high contrast images over the complete field of view. These
images are free of any chromatic aberrations. Stars appear as sharp diamonds
in the night sky.
For added stability and precision the Takahashi FS-102 uses an optional
EM-200 mount and its standard mount. These mounts are electric with built-in
polar alignment telescopes and leveling bubbles which permit 2-arc minute
alignment on level or uneven ground in a few minutes.
