Takahashi FS 60C Refractor Telescope
The Takahashi FS 60C refractor telescope is great as an eclipse
telescope. It is a compact short focus apo refractor, and with its triplet
reducer, makes a nice little astro camera or spotting scope. The Takahashi FS-78 refractor telescope is similarly compact.
This Takahashi FS 60C is the latest addition to the FS Series fluorite
Apochromatic refractors. The FS 60C has a hard multi-coated fluorite
objective up front with a low dispersion hard multi-coated rear element.
The FS 60C Takahashi refractor can be carried around the world for
adventures in hard to reach areas, and for solar eclipses. This is possible
due to its innovative palm sized mount, "The Teagul Sky Patrol". This
portable small sidereal rate mount can be attached to a camera tripod, and
will fit in a camera bag.
