Takahashi FS 78 Refractor Telescope
The Takahashi FS-78 refractor telescope is extremely portable. You
can bring it to remote areas or on solar eclipse adventures.
You can polar align using the Takahashi FS-78 telescope within 2 arc
minutes of the celestial pole on land or tilted terrain very fast. Its
standard illuminated reticule, calculator reticule, and polar axis make this
possible. The Takahashi FSQ 106 refractor telescope is even more hi-tech.
Outperforming bigger conventional refractors the FS-78 Takahashi has a
diffraction-limited Apochromatic optics which achieve crisp, high contrast
images free of secondary color over the complete field of view. Enhancing
the contrast are seven internal baffles which produce a very dark
background.
