Takahashi FSQ 106 Refractor Telescope
The Takahashi FSQ 106 refractor telescope is perfect as an
astrograph. It is a hi-tech fluorite refractor with a high standard for
innovation and color correction. The FSQ 106 does not display any problems
with field curvature and astigmatism.
The Petzual design for the FSQ 106 Takahashi utilizes two widely
separated rear element to correct field curvature and astigmatism which
results in a flat field, high contrast image without any trace of lateral
color. An incredible 88mm image is produced from this design that will
completely illuminate a 35, 645, or 6x7 medium format camera and vacuum back
roll film holders. The Takahashi refractor TOA 130EMT gives you a 92mm diameter.
The Takahashi FSQ 106 refractor telescope allows you to rotate it 360
degrees because it has a built-in camera angle adjuster. This makes the FSQ
106 an exceptional astrograph. It produces an image free of any secondary
color because of its double fluorite design. Deep sky objects or total
eclipses will appear incredibly sharp, with high contrast.
