Takahashi Refractor TOA 130EMT
The Takahashi Refractor TOA 130EMT is a great instrument for CCD, visual ,
and photo imaging. It is the first of the new Ortho-Apochromatic Series. The
TOA 130EMT uses an innovatively designed triplet which produces a superior
order of color correction, giving the name Ortho-Apochromatic. It is contained
in a 32 inch tube with the lens shade retracted.
The Ortho-Apochromatic Series delivers through the Takahashi Reflector TOA
130EMT images with saturated color and incredible contrast, due to its
numerous knife-edged baffles. The TOA 130EMT has a classic 2.7 inch focuser.
If you want to use a medium format camera, this refractor is armed with a
deluxe 4 inch focuser with a built in camera angle adjuster.
The deluxe 4 inch focuser, together with a dedicated flattener, will
provide a fully illuminated 70mm circle with a usable 92mm diameter.
The Takahashi refractor TOA 130EMT can be used for high magnification
observations of the Moon and planets by using its LE-ED 2.8mm Takahashi
ocular. For more versatility you can use the EMT130 together with CCD
cameras, electronic focusers and color filter wheels or film cameras.
