What are Telescope Domes

Telescope Domes also called Astro Domes house telescopes from 2.5m in length to 6.25m. They come in a couple different sizes, and you store accessories, chart tables or shelves, astrophotography, photometry, computers and CCD imaging equipment inside the Astro Dome.

Telescope Domes prevent unwanted obtrusive light, thereby improving your viewing experience. You are protected from the wind and cold, and your telescope equipment is protected and secure. You can share your cosmic experience with up to 15 guests inside your Astro Dome.

You can control your dome either manually or by a motor, because it rotates on a unique system of nylon wheels. Telescope Domes are lightweight and sturdy, made from industrial strength materials. As an extra option automatic tracking is available.
