Meade's Telescope GOTO Software
Meade's telescope GOTO software gives you the capability to go to any
astronomical object of known Right Ascension and Distribution. It's rare,
but if the celestial object is not in the Autostar database, just input the
objects R.A. and DEC. and push GOTO and the telescope software will
automatically move the telescope to the object.
Meade's Autostar GOTO software provides you with digital reports of
telescope position, constantly in R.A. and DEC., plus tracks the
sidereal-rate in either altazimuth or equatorial modes. You can enter up to
200 objects into Autostar's software memory, then call them up any time and
go to them easily.
Are you interested in learning about and viewing the constellations? You
can learn about all 88 constellations with Autostar's GOTO software.
Autostar will display interesting information about the mythology of the
constellations, plus you'll be able to see it through your telescope.
Meade's Autostar software and GOTO button is very easy to use. First time
observers will be able to locate many of their favorite objects there first
night out. You'll be able to see with your telescope the rings of Saturn,
the satellites of Jupiter, Orion Nebula, Ring Nebula, the Lyra and Spiral
Galaxies and much more.
